BEVERLY HILLS: Netflix and DreamWorks Animation have unveiled Dinotrux 5 Minute Favorites, a series of five-minute videos meant to help parents with their bedtime-stalling kids.

The idea behind the new 5 Minute Favorites is that parents can satisfy children’s requests to watch another program before bedtime, but this offering is just 300-seconds long. Kids get to rewatch their favorite scenes, while parents get their little ones to bed sooner.

Netflix polled parents across seven countries (the U.S., U.K., France, Canada, Australia, Brazil and Mexico) and found that 61 percent of parents who are in charge of getting their children into bed at night are dealing with their kids’ stall tactics at bedtime—it adds up to parents spending nearly 20 minutes a night negotiating with kids to get them tucked into bed.
